Destination wedding in Tuscany

You can understand how much I am in love with these two guys from the huge number of images in our new website. I loved everything about this destination wedding in Tuscany, light, colors, climbing on the highest peaks of the Carrara quarry. Everything was a fascinating adventure with the sweetest, most creative and enterprising couple I ever met. Nicolas and Nikola share the name, their immense love, creativity, taste for simple things.

To the man I love, to my Future

We put the highest expectations on every film that we document, but there were some clear signs that would have made us particularly love this film. We have had a strong empathy with the couple since their first email. They immediately proved to be very involved and shared with us the desire to tell something that went beyond the wedding event, they wanted a more intimate portrait of their love story. The couple is based in New York and they have decided to spend about a week in the Tuscan countryside surrounded by the closest friends and families. We immediately integrated into their family, we felt part of it. Together we explored the area surrounding the Villa they rented for the wedding and we also visited a magical place in Tuscany, the Carrara Marble quarries. The visit to the marble quarry was very inspiring. We have treated the construction of the story as the process of making a marble sculpture. As Michelangelo said, the form is already contained within the marble block, the aim of the artist is to reveal it.

It’s all about love and joy this destination wedding at Il Borro, Tuscany. Allison and Henning are a young couple who chose Tuscany to share their wedding with family and friends. Brenda Babcock and her team of Italia Celebrations planned this wedding in Tuscany as a Romantic fary tale. The bride and groom had a lot of bridesmaid and groomsmen which made it extra fun during the wedding preparation. Pink and violet flowers at the sides of the aisle frame the dreamy passage of Allison to the future groom. As always Noosheens made a fantastic work. The sun is shining in this destination wedding in Tuscany, and Il Borro, as always is the perfect location for a romantic scenario. Allison shines of joy and happyness, this may not be so different from the marriage she had wanted in her dreams. Allison and Henning celebrated with family and friends al fresco, under chandeliers hanging from trees that confer a particular environment charm: the dinner was showcasing the region’s rich culinary heritage and the distinct flavors of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Following a party full of energie, lights and colors, open bar and dancing to rhythm of The Kitts Band live music.

There is an enchanted place where a surreal peace prevails. Endless expanses of green are framed by a clear skies. Castiglion del Bosco is the perfect wedding location for a young and stylish destination wedding. From the site “A meandering, cypress-lined road leads to the Borgo, the historic heart of Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco’s bygone farming community. Located on a hilltop, overlooking patchwork fields that stretch out below towards Montalcino, the Borgo was the center of the estate’s activities for hundreds of years. Dominated by the ruins of the medieval castle that gives the estate its name, it is a place brimming with memories waiting to be explored.”

Luca and Sancha are discrete and attentive guys. The excitement for this intense day is breathed in every gesture. To end to the tension the guests took part in a golf tournament. Set within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the estate’s 18-hole golf course offers an unparalleled experience in Italy’s only private golf club. Designed by legendary British Open winner Tom Weiskopf, the breathtaking course is challenging and enjoyable to play. Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco’s guests have limited access to the golf club. The religious ceremony took place in the historic church of San Michele Arcangelo with its frescoes by Pietro Lorenzetti. Whether hosting an intimate exchange of vows, an exquisite ceremony or a beautiful reception.

Luca and Sancha celebrated with family and friends al fresco, under delicate curtains to protect themselves from the breeze: the dinner was showcasing the region’s rich culinary heritage and the distinct flavors of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I admit, it is my dream: to film a wedding under the Tour Eiffel.But who does not dream of getting married in Paris? In 2015 we visited, for a Saudi Arabia Wedding the part of the France closest to Switzerland, precisely in “Château de Divonne”
This traditional castle dominates the town of Divonne-les-Bains, built at the beginning of the 11th century, the castle has been restored on 18th and 19th centuries by La Forest Divonne family.
2016 will take us to film a destination wedding in Normandy, we will visit Paris for an elopement, and Mont Saint-Michel for an engagement. Part of our family lives in Switzerland, we never lose the occasion to visit it. Many couples choose to celebrate their wedding in this lovely place out of time. Nature is untouched even in a big city like Zurich. I saw the bears live free in a park of Bern, a huge clock surmounting the heads of tourists in the city square. Endless expanses of green and cows at pasture in the center city (Burgdorf) I love to work in Switzerland for destination weddings. Our last wedding filmed in Switzerland was in Rapperswil. High above the city of roses Rapperswil, already visible from afar, the imposing medieval castle perched with their courtyards and gardens. It is a special place where you the hectic world outside the thick castle walls quickly forget. The far-reaching, unparalleled views from the castle hill above Lake Zurich, to the picturesque islands Lützelau and Ufenau and the surrounding hills and mountain ranges already enjoyed the counts of Rapperswil and delight visitors of the beautiful castle for centuries. French canton is equally extraordinary. Geneva, Lausanne are full of life and full of young artists. You can buy scented soaps and sweets delicious chocolate. I can not wait to go back there again, maybe for your destination wedding in Switzerland.

High above the city of roses Rapperswil, already visible from afar, the imposing medieval castle perched with their courtyards and gardens. It is a special place where you the hectic world outside the thick castle walls quickly forget. The far-reaching, unparalleled views from the castle hill above Lake Zurich, to the picturesque islands Lützelau and Ufenau and the surrounding hills and mountain ranges already enjoyed the counts of Rapperswil and delight visitors of the beautiful castle for centuries. This environment, the impressive castle and the stately rooms of the castle form a beautiful and perfect setting for this colorful event. Dinah and David chose this ancient castle to celebrate their destination wedding surrounded by family and friends. On this day of August the temperature is cool, the sky a little covered threat of rain, but i did not imagine more vivid colors, joy and fun. The spell was flowing into the air.

Dinah and David are a couple of irrepressible vitality. Dinah has organized everything in detail, every choice is stylish and fun and leads back to the trip, a source of inspiration in their lifetime. Dinah and David made it even more beautiful in my eyes. Sharing this dayt with these two was a moment of pure happiness!

This destination wedding in Switzerland has been a wonderful experience for us, we were captivated by landscapes, architecture, colors and nature, very different from Italy.

In this hot July day I want to share with you this magical four days wedding at “Il Borro”, Tuscany. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, in the shadow of the cypress trees of the ancient Via dei Sette Ponti, Il Borro is an open window on history, a fresco to a far away world. The Medici dynasty, the Savoia family and now the Ferragamo family have safeguarded and preserved this precious oasis, making this place, suspended between past and present, a sanctuary dedicated to wellbeing and the art of hospitality.

Chiara and Mario chose to spend 4 days in this paradise of culture and tradition with family and close friends. Days full of events, food and wine tours, party, music, dancers, fire jugglers, fireworks.

Day one | Pizza party

The pizza party was organized in the borgo square facing the Church. A setting up full of italian colors and scents cured by Noosheens. There is nothing more rustic italian party! Delicious food and wine of Tuscan culture, guitar and mandolin as soundtrack. Oh I love it!

Day two | wine tour and BBQ party

The rain accompanied us throughout the afternoon, a perfect scenery for a private tour of the wine cellars of “Il Borro”. In the evening the rain is gone, the weather is perfect for a BBQ party poolside. We celebrate late into the evening with songs, speeches and fire jugglers.

Wedding day

Here we are guys! The wedding day arrived. Chiara is absolutely radiant in her dress. Mario awaits her in the church, is visibly moved. Everything is absolutely romantic and very deep. The song sung by his friend touches all. We have witnessed a moving ceremony in the borgo at Il Borro, Tuscany.
Now we are ready for the party! Come with us, share with us this exciting day!
