Lucio and Ersilia are two architects of Italian origins but they live in New York. What better choice if not Tuscany to celebrate their Italian style wedding?

Elopement wedding on a Floating Planet

This elopement wedding is set in an unspecified future on UKIYO, an imaginary floating planet made entirely of water. UKIYO is a sentient organism-planet that is capable of thinking, of creating life, of manifesting the memories and desires of those who come in contact with it. The two people who live here could be an anthropomorphic manifestation of the planet itself, as well as their meeting that probably never really happened.  We let ourselves be inspired by the meta-science fiction of a masterpiece of cinema: Solaris of Andrej Tarkovski.

Destination Wedding in Normandy – France

“La foret de la momoire” is the video portrait of Jess and Luke, a couple based in New York who asked us to document their wedding in Normandie past August. We spent five days with them and their families in the Old Chateau Le Mont Epinguet (Normandy – France). Making this video has become a deeper experience for us; sharing a week with Jess and Luke families made us become part of their memories. We were no longer there to document the wedding event, but to tell something more intimate of their lives.
